The Federal Government has unveiled GovGuideNigeria, a new artificial intelligence-powered platform designed to make government information and services more accessible to citizens across the country. The platform, which operates through WhatsApp and a web portal, aims to simplify how Nigerians interact with public institutions while improving access to critical information.

Announcing the launch on Thursday via his official X account, Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, described GovGuideNigeria as a digital solution built to make government information easier, faster, and more inclusive for all Nigerians. The platform is available in English, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba, ensuring that language barriers do not prevent citizens from accessing public services.

According to Tijani, GovGuideNigeria provides users with information from more than 35 federal ministries and over 60 government agencies. The initiative is expected to bridge information gaps, particularly for citizens in underserved communities, while strengthening public service delivery through technology-driven solutions.

The minister noted that the project reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to leveraging artificial intelligence and digital innovation for national development. He emphasized that the platform was specifically designed to support low-literacy populations and underserved groups, enabling more Nigerians to access reliable government information without difficulty.

Tijani also acknowledged the collaboration between the National Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), Meta, and Publica AI in bringing the project to life. He encouraged Nigerians to embrace the platform, describing it as a practical example of how partnerships between government, private-sector organizations, and local innovators can deliver solutions that improve citizens’ everyday experiences and strengthen access to public services.
