LG Electronics has taken a major step in redefining modern living with the launch of its AI smart home solutions, unveiled at InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi and Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria. The twin exhibitions highlighted the company’s focus on blending global technological innovation with the practical needs of consumers and businesses across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). By presenting the same suite of AI-driven innovations in different markets, LG aims to showcase solutions that are inclusive, localized, and designed for everyday use.

At InnoFest 2026, LG presented a wide array of AI-powered home and lifestyle products, emphasizing a seamless smart ecosystem where appliances, air solutions, and connected technologies work together. A standout feature was LG’s advanced residential laundry range, including models equipped with AI Wash and AI Dry technologies. These intelligent systems automatically detect fabric types and load sizes to optimize cleaning efficiency while reducing energy use.

Among the highlights was the award-winning 29-inch LG SIGNATURE Wash Combo, the world’s largest all-in-one washer-dryer, along with the expanded WashTower range available in 24-inch, 25-inch, and 27-inch models. In the kitchen, LG introduced the ‘Fit & Max’ concept and the LG InstaView French Door refrigerator, which features zero-clearance hinges and AI Fresh technology that adapts cooling based on usage patterns. Together, these innovations reinforced LG’s position as a leading appliance brand in the MEA region.

Continuing the momentum in Nigeria at Mega HORECA 2026, LG offered consumers, hospitality operators, and business partners hands-on experience with its AI smart solutions. Visitors explored adaptive refrigerators, intelligent laundry systems, smart cooking appliances, and air-conditioning units engineered for homes, hotels, and restaurants. LG’s flagship Eco Solutions dehumidifier, designed to reduce mould and mildew while operating quietly for long periods, highlighted the company’s focus on health, comfort, and indoor air quality.

Mr. Hyoung Sub Ji, President of LG West Africa, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering locally optimized, user-centric smart solutions. “Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth across the Middle East and Africa,” Ji said. LG’s showcases at InnoFest 2026 and Mega HORECA 2026 demonstrate its mission to make advanced AI smart home technologies globally competitive, yet relevant and accessible to local consumers.
