The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) is set to host its 2026 Annual Breakfast Roundtable in Lagos, targeting strategies for economic stability, inflation control, and fiscal sustainability. Scheduled for 17 February 2026 at The Hall, Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Oniru, Victoria Island, the high-profile forum promises to bring together government officials, policymakers, investors, and business leaders under the theme: “Forecasting the 2026 Economic Horizon for Nigeria.”
The roundtable will focus on key economic priorities, including macroeconomic stability, exchange rate reforms, and diversification beyond oil. Participants will explore growth opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing, financial services, telecommunications, and the digital economy. The Chamber emphasized that the discussions aim to create actionable pathways for job creation, investor confidence, and sustainable growth across Nigeria’s economy.
The event will be hosted by NACC National President Sheriff Balogun, with a keynote address from Dr. Tayo Aduloju, CEO of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. A special presentation on the economic and commercial outlook between Nigeria and the United States will be delivered by Dr. Michael Ervin, Political and Economic Section Chief at the US Consulate in Lagos. Other notable contributors include Dr. Raymond Ihyembe, Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce, Nigeria, and a panel of economists and policy experts from the Central Bank of Nigeria, IMF, World Bank, and ECOWAS.
The roundtable will feature a moderated panel session led by Dr. Adesuwa Erediauwa, Senior Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. Experts will share insights on the latest reforms, inflation management, exchange rate stabilization, and strategies for strengthening non-oil sectors. The forum aims to provide practical recommendations for policymakers and investors seeking to navigate Nigeria’s evolving economic landscape.
Beyond economic discussions, the NACC will celebrate creativity and innovation by honoring filmmaker and media entrepreneur Femi Odugbemi with the Creative Industry Excellence Award. Recognized for his work on productions like Tinsel and Gidi Blues, Odugbemi’s award highlights the Chamber’s commitment to promoting leadership and innovation that enhances Nigeria’s global competitiveness.
