In a remarkable achievement for Nigeria’s tech industry, Task Systems Limited has been honoured with the Microsoft Best Partner Award in California, United States. Founded 38 years ago and a member of the Zinox Group, Task Systems is one of the pioneering companies shaping Africa’s technology landscape. The award, presented at the Microsoft Ignite 2025 event, positions Nigeria as a credible and innovative hub for global business and investment.

Out of more than 4,600 nominations from over 100 countries, only 42 companies emerged as winners, making Task Systems the sole representative from West Africa. This recognition underscores the company’s innovative contributions to technology and its growing influence in areas like Artificial Intelligence and Microsoft cloud computing. The award is a testament to Nigeria’s potential to compete on the global tech stage.

Speaking at the ceremony, Task Systems’ CEO, Mrs. Gozy Ijogun, described the accolade as a reflection of the creativity and technical progress of Nigerian innovators over the past decade. She extended her gratitude to the Nigerian government, multinational corporations, and local partners who supported the firm’s journey. According to her, the award also calls for even deeper collaboration and enterprise innovation across Task Systems’ wide network of stakeholders.

Nicole Dezen, Microsoft’s Chief Partner Officer and Corporate Vice President of Global Channel Partner Sales, highlighted the global significance of the award. This year’s awards spanned eight global categories, including Azure, Security, Modern Work, Business Applications, Industry, Social Impact, Partner Innovation, and Business Transformation.
