Australia leads the pack as the world’s most AI-dependent nation, with over 5 million AI platform visits per 100,000 residents. In total, Australians interact with AI 1.35 billion times annually, including a 2% share of activity using specialized tools like chatbots and content generators. The Netherlands follows closely with nearly 5 million interactions per capita, while Canada ranks third with 4.8 million AI engagements, demonstrating a particularly strong interest in specialized AI applications.
The United States, despite its larger population, boasts the highest total AI traffic worldwide, recording 16.4 billion uses in one year. AI tools alone account for 20% of all interactions, the highest proportion on the list, with per-capita engagement slightly below Canada at 4.7 million interactions. The United Kingdom rounds out the top five, with residents averaging 3.5 million AI engagements annually and a notable 3% of traffic directed toward AI tools.
Europe dominates the global AI scene, with Germany, Spain, and France ranking sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively. Germany shows strong AI tool usage at 3.18% of all activity, while Spain and France demonstrate widespread adoption across platforms. South America is represented by Peru in ninth place, with 2.6 million interactions per 100,000 residents, followed by Malaysia at tenth with 2.4 million AI engagements, highlighting the geographic spread of AI adoption worldwide.
Eskimoz emphasizes that AI is becoming an everyday necessity rather than a niche technology. “The sheer scale of engagement shows that individuals and businesses are increasingly relying on these tools,” a spokesperson noted.
