Abuja to Host Over 500 Global Investors at 2025 Business Investment Expo to Boost Emerging Markets

The Abuja Investment Company Limited (AICL) has announced that over 500 high-level participants from 40 countries are expected to attend the 2025 Abuja Business Investment Expo. Scheduled for October 22 to 25, 2025, the event will be held at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja, with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, serving as the chief host.

The Expo’s theme, “Empowering Sustainable Growth: Unlocking Potential in Emerging Markets,” aims to bring together government officials, industry leaders, investors, policymakers, diplomats, financiers, and innovators from Nigeria and around the world. The event will highlight investment opportunities within the Federal Capital Territory, other subnational regions, and emerging markets globally.

Dr. Maureen Tamuno, AICL’s Group Managing Director and CEO, emphasized the Expo’s role as a platform for dialogue and collaboration. She noted that the gathering will focus on addressing challenges in emerging markets while exploring actionable strategies to unlock sustainable economic growth.

The primary objectives include showcasing Abuja’s economic and investment potential across various sectors, facilitating collaborations between government and private sectors, and connecting local entrepreneurs with international investors. The event also aims to foster a knowledge exchange environment to help stakeholders navigate investment trends, regulatory frameworks, and market opportunities.

By convening diverse stakeholders, the Expo is set to drive innovation and economic growth in Abuja and beyond, reinforcing the city’s position as a strategic hub for business and investment in Africa’s emerging markets.
