Fintech experts in Nigeria, through the Fintech Association of Nigeria (Fintech NGR), have developed a dedicated platform under the banner of Nigeria Fintech Week 2025 (October 7–9) to connect fintech startups nationwide with investors ready to fund their ventures. The platform is designed to showcase early-stage innovators from across Nigeria, providing them direct access to capital and strategic partnerships.

The eighth edition of Nigeria Fintech Week, themed “The Fintech Ecosystem Symphony: Orchestrating Nigeria’s Digital Future,” aims to gather over 20,000 participants spanning government, startups, corporations, and investors. The Organizers describe NFW25 as more than an event, it is a movement that seeks to harmonize efforts across sectors to accelerate innovation and inclusivity in Nigeria’s digital finance ecosystem.

For the first time, the conference will adopt a multi‑city structure, with regional engagements in Abuja, Delta, and Enugu, culminating in a flagship gathering in Lagos. This decentralized approach is intended to promote grassroots participation and ensure accessibility across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones, reflecting the sector’s national impact beyond Lagos alone.

At a Lagos press briefing, Dr. Stanley Jacob, President of Fintech NGR, emphasized the association’s transformation into a broader movement focused on forging partnerships and reimagining sectors for the digital economy. Vice President Dr. Jameelah Sharrieff‑Ayedun highlighted the multi‑city rollout as a deliberate strategy to include diverse voices—from students and Agritech players to aviation, creative, and faith‑based communities. Uche Uzoebo from SANEF added that nonlinear players—like schools, churches, food vendors and influencers, are now part of the fintech tapestry.
