The Nigerian American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) has partnered with the Nigeria eGovernment Summit 2025 to promote digital transformation in government operations. Announced by NACC President Sheriff Balogun, the collaboration is built on the summit’s strong track record of fostering innovation in public service delivery. Balogun emphasized that the initiative aims to improve the efficiency of government services by integrating advanced technologies and building stronger ties between the public and private sectors.

Themed “Public-Private Partnership for Effective eGovernment Service Delivery,” the summit is organized by DigiServe Network Services and supported by key institutions such as the Association of Telecoms Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC). It is designed to serve as a platform for dialogue among government officials, technology providers, and citizens—the ultimate beneficiaries of digital services.

The summit seeks to explore how emerging technologies can streamline government operations and improve transparency, accessibility, and service delivery. According to Lanre Ajayi, the convener of the summit, technology-driven governance is essential for national progress, and partnerships between public institutions and private tech players are vital for that evolution.

By setting a clear agenda for both federal and state governments, the event aims to foster a long-term commitment to digital innovation in governance. It is expected to yield actionable recommendations for integrating technology into public administration, ultimately leading to more responsive and effective governance for Nigerian citizens.
