The United Bank for Africa (UBA), through its corporate social responsibility arm, UBA Foundation, has donated N500 million to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund. This contribution aims to bolster efforts to create a safer environment for residents and businesses in Lagos. The cheque was presented by UBA Group Chairman, Tony Elumelu, and Deputy Managing Director, Muyiwa Akinyemi, to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the State House, Marina, Lagos. Elumelu emphasized the critical role of security in fostering economic growth and societal well-being, highlighting UBA’s commitment to building secure and thriving communities.
