Ecobank Nigeria has launched its five-day Build and Design Expo to promote innovation and creativity within Nigeria’s construction sector. The event, which will take place from November 27 to December 1, 2024, will feature 54 exhibitors across the construction value chain, including areas such as civil works, architecture, engineering, interior decorating, kitchen fittings, sanitary ware, flooring, and glass.
Omoboye Odu, Head of SME, Partnerships, and Collaboration at Ecobank, explained that the expo would provide a platform for networking, collaboration, and international visibility for Nigerian companies in the construction space. The event is designed to bring together stakeholders from various sectors, including Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), embassies, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and multilateral organizations like the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The expo will also feature knowledge exchange sessions led by world-renowned architects and Nigerian professionals.
This initiative highlights Ecobank’s commitment to supporting innovation in Nigeria’s construction industry by offering local firms a platform to showcase their products and services, gain visibility, and build international partnerships.
