The Fourth Edition of the Zenith Bank Tech Fair, themed “Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives The Impact of AI,” is set to take place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event will feature a variety of activities including a start-up pitch competition (Zecathon), panel discussions, masterclasses, and exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge technological innovations in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial intelligence, cloud computing, and other communication technologies. The fair aims to highlight the transformative role of technology in banking and finance.
Prominent figures such as Zenith Bank Founder and Chairman Jim Ovia, Group Managing Director Dame Adaora Umeoji, Vice President of Nigeria Sen. Kashim Shettima, and Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu will deliver opening remarks and welcome addresses during the fair. Additionally, the keynote address, “Banking Transformation in a Digital World,” will be given by Robin Speculand, a global expert in digital strategy and implementation. Other notable IT practitioners from companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, and IBM will also present during the event.
The Tech Fair will feature a range of engaging panels, with Wole Odeyele from Microsoft as the host. Participants will include industry leaders like Ada Jabaru, Funke Opeke, and Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, who will discuss various aspects of digital transformation in finance. The masterclasses will cover seven different topics and will be conducted by experts from top technology companies such as Microsoft, Oracle, and Google, providing valuable insights into the latest advancements in technology for finance.
