The Nigerian government has decided to give more money to young people who are part of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Starting from July 2024, they will now get N77,000 every month. This is much higher than the N33,000 they used to get since 2019.
This change was announced on the NYSC’s official social media account.
The government hopes this increase will help young people as they serve the country after finishing their education.
