The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has decided to help people and businesses get U.S. dollars more easily.
They will sell $20,000 to each Bureau De Change (BDC) operator at a price of N1,590 for every dollar.
This money is meant for important things like travel, school fees, and medical bills.
The CBN wants to make sure that people can buy dollars at fair prices and stop prices from going too high.
BDCs must sell the dollars they buy from CBN at a price that is only a little higher than what they paid.
This way, everyone can get the dollars they need without paying too much. This plan is part of the CBN’s effort to keep the Naira stable and help the economy.
