Mrs. Yetunde Ilori, the incoming president of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), plans to leverage technology to advance insurance education, professionalism, and expertise in niche areas.
At a press briefing in Lagos, she outlined her agenda using the acronym EPIC, which stands for Education, Professionalism, Institutional Recognition, and Capacity Building.
Ilori, former Director-General of the Nigerian Insurers Association, aims to enhance educational programs, encourage innovation, promote ethical practices, and strengthen collaborations with regulators and stakeholders.
Her goals include establishing a credible awards program, strengthening the CIIN secretariat, and providing internship opportunities, with a firm belief in achieving these ambitious objectives through the Institute’s commitment to excellence and member support.
