Franklin Nechi, Chairman of Optiva Capital, has been inducted as an ambassador for the War Against Drug Abuse (WADA) by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos.
Nechi expressed his excitement and reiterated his company’s commitment to promoting good health.
Nechi revealed plans to establish three mobile hospitals to serve as first responders to accidents, highlighting his firm’s dedication to improving health in Nigeria.
He also pledged to support the NDLEA in eradicating drug abuse and extending the campaign to educational institutions, noting the significant impact of drug abuse on cultism and student safety.
Archie Ibinabo, NDLEA’s Assistant Commander General of Narcotics, praised Nechi’s contributions to the country and urged him to use his new role to further impact the community positively.
She emphasized that the ambassadorial role was conferred based on Nechi’s proven dedication and background checks.
