The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has requested Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) pensioners with accounts in Heritage Bank to provide alternative bank account details following the revocation of Heritage Bank’s license by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Affected pensioners should email complaints@ptad.gov.ng with a letter stating they are Heritage Bank pensioners and include a new bank account statement, Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip, and PTAD verification slip. For further assistance, pensioners can contact the Pensioner Support Services Department on 0800-2255-7823 or 02094621700 from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 4:30 pm.
PTAD acknowledged potential delays in responding due to high call volumes and reassured pensioners that monthly payments have been finalized, noting that pension remittances are handled directly by the CBN.
