Toyota Recalls Over 100,000 Vehicles Due to Potential Engine Stall

Attention Toyota and Lexus owners! There’s a recall on certain 2022-2023 Tundra pickup trucks and LX 600 SUVs equipped with the V35A six-cylinder engine. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced the issue, which stems from debris left behind during the manufacturing process. This debris could contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, leading to a stall and loss of power while driving.

According to the NHTSA, this loss of power could significantly increase the risk of an accident, especially at higher speeds. Thankfully, Toyota is aware of the problem and currently developing a solution to fix the affected vehicles. While a remedy hasn’t been announced yet, Toyota plans to notify owners by the end of July.
