Data from the National Pension Commission (PenCom) revealed that Nigeria’s pension fund assets dropped marginally to N19.669 trillion for the period ended March 31, 2024. This represents a slight decrease of about 0.45% compared to the N19.759 trillion reported in February 2024, according to PenCom’s monthly report.
The final dividend, subject to appropriate withholding tax, will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as of May 14, 2024. This will be presented at the next Annual General Meeting for shareholders’ ratification and approval.
The statement from the company indicated that on May 30, 2024, the final dividend of N24.30 per 50 kobo share cash dividend will be paid electronically to shareholders who have completed the e-dividend registration and mandated the Registrar to pay dividends directly into their bank accounts. Shareholders yet to complete the e-dividend registration are advised to download the Registrar’s E-Dividend Mandate Activation Form, available on the Registrar’s website.
Shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates are encouraged to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar for assistance.
