Four prominent banks, including United Bank for Africa, Zenith Bank, Stanbic IBTC, and Wema Bank, have disclosed that they will delay the filing of their audited results for the year 2023.

According to Nigerian Exchange rules, listed companies are required to file their previous year’s results by March 31st. However, these banks cited ongoing approval processes with their sector regulator, the Central Bank of Nigeria, as the reason for the delay.

Investors have been eagerly awaiting the release of these banks’ audited results as they reposition their portfolios.
