President Bola Tinubu is set to launch a three-step approach for assessing his Ministers and heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) as his administration approaches its first year in office. The initiative aims to provide a platform for the public to contribute their opinions on which Ministers should be retained or replaced.

Scheduled to mark its first year in office on May 29, 2024, the Tinubu administration seeks to gather feedback from the public regarding the performance of each Minister based on specific targets set by the President. The platform will also facilitate evaluations by the Policy Coordination office, led by Hadiza Bala-Usman, and input from a group of consultants.

The assessment process will serve as the basis for determining the retention or removal of Ministers based on their performance. President Tinubu’s administration emphasizes accountability and aims to replace Ministers who fail to deliver on their mandates, athough the platform’s launch has been delayed by a week to finalize the process.
