Neveah Limited, an indigenous commodities export company, has announced a significant 44 percent increase in the salaries of its employees, effective March.

The company’s Chief Executive Officer, Ibidapo Lawal, emphasized that this salary increment aims to alleviate the economic challenges faced by Nigerians due to factors like rising inflation and stagnant wages. Lawal highlighted that investing in employees’ well-being not only aligns with the company’s moral values but also enhances business performance.

He emphasized that happy and financially stable employees tend to be more productive, engaged, and committed to the company’s success. Furthermore, Lawal mentioned that while most Neveah employees will experience a salary increase of over 44 percent on average, some will benefit from a substantial 70 percent upward review.
