The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has authorized the deployment of additional enrolment systems to bolster National Identification Number (NIN) registration across Nigeria. This initiative reflects the commitment of the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, Abisoye Odusote-Coker to optimize operations and improve overall efficiency within the commission.

In a statement released on Wednesday by Kayode Adegoke, the Head of Corporate Communications at NIMC, it was revealed that the newly installed enrolment systems are operational nationwide. These systems have significantly reduced the time required for applicants, thereby increasing the number of individuals attended to daily.

Furthermore, NIMC disclosed that monitoring and evaluation teams have been dispatched to various centres nationwide to oversee enrolment and modification exercises, ensuring smooth operations and quality service delivery.

Recently, NIMC unveiled plans to reduce waiting times at enrolment centres across the country. Coker-Odusote, the DG, emphasized the commission’s commitment to equipping its field offices with necessary resources during a presentation of new enrolment devices by the Korea International Cooperation Agency Nigeria Office.
