In the battle against counterfeit drugs and unwholesome products in the Nigerian market, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has revealed four crucial ways for consumers to identify fake drugs and other substandard products.
Mojisola Adeyeye, Director General of NAFDAC, shared these measures on Tuesday, addressing the growing social media outcry against fake drug manufacturers and sellers of substandard food and beverages.
To empower the public in recognizing fake and adulterated items, Adeyeye introduced the “4 Ps”: place, price, packaging, and products. Consumers are urged to be mindful of these aspects, ensuring the safety of the items they consume.
Adeyeye reassured the public that NAFDAC remains resolute in its mission to protect the health of Nigerians.
