The Sovereign Fund of Egypt (TSFE), in collaboration with leading private equity firm B Investments and its healthcare and pharmaceutical industries Subfund (“TSFE Healthcare & Pharma Subfund”), announced the launch of new company EZ International in partnership with leading pharmaceutical chain El-Ezaby Pharmacy, offering logistics and management services for pharmacies, as well as pharmaceutical distribution and trade services.

The proceeds will help EZ International get off to a good start, allowing it to provide high-quality services to more than 500 pharmacies across the country, beginning with El-Ezaby’s more than 250 branches.
“We offer independent pharmacies a new business model that promotes their growth and development through our relationship.”

Hazem Barakat, Co-Founder and Chairman of B Investments, expressed satisfaction with the new endeavor. B Investments, according to Barakat, will leverage its excellent financial and operational capabilities  to support and develop companies in Egypt’s critical and promising healthcare and pharmaceuticals sector.
