When the Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce leaves on its trade mission to the UK next month, a commercial cooperation between UK and Nigerian businesses will be at the top of the agenda.
Engagement with Nigerians in the Diaspora, business leaders in the UK, trade-related government officials, and UK-based chambers of commerce will be the emphasis of the trip, according to Akin Osuntoki, vice president and chair of the chamber’s Trade and Investment Committee.
He claims that the mission’s other goals include creating a forum for business-to-business networking, opening doors for British investors and entrepreneurs, as well as those interested in finding partners or representatives in Nigeria.
Osuntoki additionally expressed assurance that the trade mission will serve as the venue for Nigerian and UK businesses to deepen ties that would benefit the economy of both economic entities.
