Fashola: Second Niger Bridge to be Opened May 15.

According to the Federal Government, the second Niger bridge would be completely accessible to traffic on May 15. This was disclosed by Babatunde Fashola, the minister of works and housing, who was inspecting and verifying the completion of the Loko-Oweto Bridge and the connecting roads between the states of Benue and Nasarawa.

The minister told reporters that the N336 billion legacy project of retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari was undergoing lane markings and other necessary finishing work, and that the president would officially conduct the flag-off event.

But, the bridge ought to be completely accessible to traffic by May 15. The Lagos-Ibadan expressway would be finished by April 30, the minister added.
