The Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC now employs Mr. Asante as its chief financial officer. He started working at Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd. in 2006 and has since held a number of top positions, including Chief Financial Officer and Head of Wholesale Banking and Business Finance for Ghana.
While in Angola, he also worked as an executive director for the bank. He was the Cluster Head of Finance for Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking, West Africa prior to his appointment as Chief Financial Officer for Standard Chartered Bank Ghana PLC, and he was in charge of Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Gambia, and Sierra Leone.
Albert holds an MBA from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ghana, and is a CFA Charterholder.
