Nasir Kwarra, the chairman of the National Population Commission, has urged Nigerians to volunteer to be counted during the next population and housing census. The scheduled dates for the census are May 3–7, 2023.
The exercise, according to Kwarra, would provide the government and other organizations with precise data to work with in addition to becoming a national event.
He continued by saying that numerous resources and efforts had been used to make sure the exercise was legitimate and effective.
