Mr. Jean-Marc Codier, a French-Swiss national and former vice president of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has been appointed head of the oil trading division of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
Cordier has subsequently joined the NNPCL’s staff, according to a statement from Mr. Garba Deen Muhammad, the company’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer.
Muhammad continued by saying that Cordier’s hiring is a step forward in the company’s continuing repositioning effort toward stronger growth, performance, and service delivery.
Cordier, a well-known international oil trader, graduated with honors from Paris 9 University’s Master of Corporate Finance program.
He has extensive experience in risk management, oil derivatives, and physical oil that spans more than 30 years.
