According to Mr. Collins Dike, a trucker, 65% of the county’s maritime sector’s trucks were idle because of extortion demands made by hooligans, also known as area boys.
During an interview with a few journalists in Lagos, Dike claimed that these touts were making life difficult for truck drivers and owners.
According to Dike, these hooligans were causing truckers in Nigeria a lot of grief and hardship.
