Following its selection as the winner of the third annual Nigerian Communications Commission Information and Communications Technology Innovation Competition and Exhibition, the ICT mobility firm Nairaxi has successfully coasted to victory.
Nairaxi won the cash prize of N2 million after showcasing excellence in its ability to close the digital gap by using cutting-edge and inventive tech solutions to boost economic growth in Nigeria.
Only 15 tech businesses made it to the exhibition booths for the semi-final out of 400 startup applications that were shortlisted. Of them, 88 startups made it to the first cut and 58 tech hubs made it to the second cut.
Nairaxi’s Chief Executive Officer, Kingsley Eze, characterized their triumph in the release as a reinforcement towards new technology innovation solutions for Nigeria.
He explained that Nairaxi would be committed to innovative digital solutions across key sectors so as to improve social growth and economic advancement.
