Following the successful conclusion of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations on Climate Change, Oando Clean Energy stated that climate commitments must be followed by action and pledged to support Nigeria’s net zero objective.
According to a statement from the corporation, the COP27 event, which had the theme “delivering for the people and the earth,” provided a chance to highlight what various nations are doing to protect the environment. Africa was not left out of the event.
Two side events were held at the Nigeria pavilion by OCEL, the renewable energy division of Oando Plc and a member of the Nigerian delegation to COP27.
A broad group of investors, partners, government officials, and NGOs attended the event.
