Due to the growing shortage of foreign currency in Nigeria, First Bank of Nigeria has banned international transactions; using the Naira Mastercard, Naira Credit Card, our Virtual card, and Visa Prepaid Naira card.
The bank further stated that only dollar cards with a $10,000 maximum can be use for foreign transactions.
Currently, only the Visa Debit Multicurrency Card, Visa Prepaid (USD) Card, and Visa Gold Credit Card are in use to conduct transactions abroad.
