Nigeria’s total import bill for jan-sep 2021 rose to $8.92bn from $4.29bn in the same period of 2020.
Dr Biodun Adedipe an economist and Chief Consultant, disclosed this while presenting a report.
The report was presented during an event organised by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria in Lagos.
He added “there would be an improvement in infrastructure that will impact positively the cost of doing business in the near term.
