On Wednesday the senate approved a loan request of $5.8bn and a grant of $10m under the 2018-2020 External Borrowing (Rolling) Plan of the Federal Government, made by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).
The approval acted in accordance with the consideration and adoption of a report by the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts.
