The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced twelve new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
The NCDC in a statement on Twitter said:
Twelve new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Osun, 2 in Edo and 1 in Ekiti State
As at 12:30 pm 1st April there are 151 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Nine have been discharged with two deaths pic.twitter.com/SVxZ4H3pBd

Osun State has emerged as the third state with the highest number of infections in Nigeria.
With the nine new cases, Osun has a total of 14 confirmed cases to place third behind Lagos (82 cases) – first; and Abuja (28 cases) – second.
Of the 82 confirmed cases in Lagos State, eight patients have been discharged from the isolation centre after recovering and testing negative.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced the new cases on Wednesday, saying the total number of cases in the country had risen to 151.
