Africa Prudential Plc has reaffirmed its financial resilience and growth momentum, sustaining strong returns while deepening its digital footprint, despite ongoing macroeconomic pressures. The announcement was made at the company’s 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 2, 2026, where shareholders were briefed on the firm’s 2025 performance and strategic direction.

Chairman Mrs. Christabel Onyejekwe described the 2025 financial year as “solid,” crediting disciplined execution, robust corporate governance, and a focus on long-term value creation. She emphasized that even amid inflation, currency volatility, and rising operational costs, the company remained committed to efficiency, shareholder returns, and building trust with all stakeholders.

Managing Director Dr. Catherine Nwosu highlighted Africa Prudential’s push into digital transformation as a key growth driver. She revealed the upcoming launch of Sabivest, a rebranded digital investment platform designed to give shareholders seamless access to their portfolios, improve transparency, and encourage broader participation in Nigeria’s capital market.

The company also strengthened compliance and identity management with a dedicated Know-Your-Customer (KYC) service line, reinforcing its reputation as a digital infrastructure enabler. Proprietary platforms like Greenpole, Sabivest, and APEMs continued to gain traction, boosting revenue, enhancing client experience, and solidifying Africa Prudential’s position at the forefront of financial technology innovation.

Financially, Africa Prudential delivered a 98 percent dividend payout and maintained a robust asset base, with gross debt securities rising to approximately ₦32.14 billion. Diversified revenue streams, strong internal controls, and strategic investments in digital infrastructure position the company to navigate future uncertainties while continuing to deliver value to shareholders and sustain leadership within Nigeria’s capital market ecosystem.
