LG Electronics is ramping up its push into artificial intelligence–powered home appliances as it seeks to boost sales and defend market share across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), where competition in the consumer electronics space is intensifying. The company unveiled its latest product lineup at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA, held in Abu Dhabi from February 3 to 5, signaling a renewed focus on innovation tailored to regional lifestyles and housing needs.

The exhibition, themed “Innovation, Forward Together,” marked the return of LG InnoFest after a seven-year hiatus and featured advances across laundry, kitchen appliances, built-in products, and total cleaning solutions. LG said the event underscores its long-term commitment to MEA markets, where it continues to expand operations and strengthen partnerships with distributors and developers.

In the laundry segment, LG introduced larger-capacity residential appliances equipped with its proprietary AI Core-Tech, including AI Wash and AI Dry functions that automatically adjust performance based on fabric type and usage patterns. The lineup is led by the 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, positioned as the world’s largest-capacity all-in-one washer-dryer, alongside new WashTower™ models designed to improve space efficiency and installation flexibility.

The company also showcased a new 27-inch WashCombo™ with advanced heat pump technology, an AI-driven front-load washer with a flat design and integrated LCD display, and expanded solutions for the commercial laundry market. LG said its app- and API-based platforms allow partners to remotely monitor and manage operations, reflecting a broader shift toward smart, connected services.

Beyond laundry, LG highlighted AI-enabled kitchen and cleaning appliances, including InstaView™ refrigerators with intelligent freshness controls, redesigned SolarDOM™ microwave ovens, smart dishwashers with AI SenseClean technology, and premium built-in kitchen products customized for MEA preferences. The showcase also featured advanced vacuum and robot cleaning solutions, reinforcing LG’s strategy of using AI-driven, user-centric innovation to deliver convenience and long-term value across the region.
