TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria Plc has unveiled its newest innovation, the TotalEnergies Mobility Card Plus (TEMC+), a smart payment solution designed to deliver enhanced security, real-time control, and convenience for both individuals and businesses. The launch marks a significant step toward modernizing mobility payments in Nigeria.
Unveiled at a ceremony in Lagos, TEMC+ combines advanced digital features with tools that allow users, particularly fleet operators, to manage accounts and transactions instantly. The card is part of a nationwide migration from existing Total Cards, with the upgrade process scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2025.
Dr. Samba Seye, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Marketing Nigeria, emphasized that TEMC+ reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction. Represented by General Manager, Retail and Cards, Abdullahi Umar, Seye explained that the platform meets the evolving demands of the digital era, offering smarter, safer, and more convenient mobility solutions.
The new platform provides customers with online secure transactions, mobile app integration for real-time account visibility, pre-authorized fuel dispensing, instant SMS alerts, virtual card capabilities, and immediate fund reallocation. TEMC+ also features live demonstrations and guided sessions to help customers navigate the migration process seamlessly.
Project Manager Osarobo Aigbogun highlighted that TEMC+ is shaped by customer feedback and represents an evolution of the Total Card rather than a replacement. The system introduces three flexible payment options—card, mobile app, and one-time password—allowing transactions even without internet access. Fleet managers benefit from real-time account management, including card blacklisting, fund transfers, and instant wallet funding, streamlining operations and improving financial control.
