In a bid to foster an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem, Adeyinka Adedokun, CEO and Principal Consultant of Avetium Consult Limited, has emphasised the importance of integration and collaboration across platforms. Speaking at a digital transformation dialogue in Lagos, Adedokun stressed that unified systems can deliver operational efficiency and long-term growth for businesses.
The event, themed “Beyond Digital: Building Africa’s Future with Unified Tech,” highlighted the critical role of data as an organisation’s most valuable asset. Adedokun explained, “You cannot harness the benefits of data if your systems are fragmented. Integration is key to unlocking potential and driving sustainable outcomes.”
Avetium Consult, the first premium Zoho partner in West Africa and co-sponsor of the event, has developed solutions such as payroll systems, e-procurement tools, and customised products for over 200 firms since 2018. Adedokun added that the firm is also launching Avetium Academy to support more organisations in leveraging technology effectively.
Olubayo Adekambi, CEO and co-founder of EqualyzAI, also addressed the audience, stressing that digital transformation is not just a buzzword but a strategic approach to creating competitive value. He explained that integrating technology into business processes enhances customer experiences, lowers operational costs, and promotes advocacy for business growth.
Both leaders agreed that for Africa to fully benefit from digital transformation, companies must prioritize innovation, strategic partnerships, and a deeper understanding of how technology drives value. By embracing unified platforms and practical digital solutions, businesses can maximize efficiency while positioning themselves for long-term success in the continent’s evolving tech landscape.
