Transcorp Hotels Plc, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, has reported a robust 36 per cent growth in its profit before tax, reaching ₦22.4 billion for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company’s unaudited financial results, released on Monday, reflect strong operational performance and strategic execution across its hospitality portfolio.
Revenue for the quarter climbed to ₦72.31 billion, marking a significant 49 per cent increase from ₦48.49 billion in the same period of 2024. The firm’s gross profit margin also improved to 76 per cent, up from 71 per cent last year — a boost the company attributes to enhanced efficiency, superior service delivery, and a sustained focus on customer experience.
According to Transcorp Hotels, its growth is anchored on sustainability and innovation, forming part of a long-term strategy to create enduring value for shareholders. The company highlighted the successful commissioning of its 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre, designed to position Nigeria as a leading destination for world-class meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) across Africa.
Commenting on the performance, Chairman of Transcorp Hotels Plc, Emmanuel Nnorom, said the strong results underscore the company’s disciplined approach to cost management and its customer-centric philosophy. “We remain committed to delivering sustainable profitability and long-term value for our investors,” he said. Similarly, Managing Director and CEO, Uzo Oshogwe, emphasized that the company’s continued drive for excellence is redefining hospitality in Africa, backed by its expanding assets and innovative culture.
Further cementing its position as an industry leader, Transcorp Hotels recently clinched three prestigious awards at the Seven Star Luxury Awards — winning Best Luxury Business Hotel (Nigeria & Africa), Best Luxury Event and Conference Centre (Nigeria & Africa), and Best CEO of the Year. These accolades reflect the brand’s growing global recognition and its commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth in Africa’s hospitality landscape.
