During the talks, both leaders agreed to expand the scope of support for ongoing World Bank–financed projects while launching new initiatives that align with Ghana’s long-term development strategy. The partnership aims to accelerate progress in five critical sectors — education, health, energy, roads, and agriculture — identified as key pillars for sustainable growth and poverty reduction. Finance Minister Dr. Forson emphasized that this renewed collaboration represents a forward-looking strategy to build resilience and inclusivity within Ghana’s economy. “With this renewed collaboration, we are working together to accelerate Ghana’s journey toward a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable economy,” he stated.
