Dubai is once again at the center of global innovation as it hosts GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s largest technology and artificial intelligence exhibition. The event, which kicks off on October 13 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is drawing over 6,800 enterprises and 2,000 startups from 180 countries, making it the most expansive gathering of tech minds and investors in the event’s history.
Tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, Huawei, IBM, Oracle, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Dell are among the headline exhibitors, joined by emerging innovators including Cerebras, Qualcomm, and Tata Electronics. The show is set to spotlight major breakthroughs across AI, data centers, quantum computing, biotech, and robotics — all crucial to the next wave of global digital transformation.
Executive Vice President of Dubai World Trade Centre, Trixie LohMirmand, emphasized that the event represents “where AI ingenuity converges with humanity’s most pressing challenges.” She noted that GITEX GLOBAL 2025 continues to drive innovation-led progress, fueling growth across industries and economies as nations accelerate toward AI-powered futures.
Running alongside the main exhibition, Expand North Star 2025, the world’s largest startup showcase, opened earlier at Dubai Harbour. Organized by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, it features 2,000 startups and 1,200 investors managing more than $1.1 trillion in assets. This year also marks record international participation, with Brazil debuting its largest-ever tech delegation, alongside new pavilions from Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Spain, Türkiye, and others.
Beyond the exhibitions, the five-day event serves as a global stage for investment deals, partnerships, and policy dialogues aimed at defining the next decade of digital transformation. Business leaders, investors, and policymakers are expected to announce cross-border collaborations that will strengthen global digital infrastructure and foster inclusive innovation ecosystems. As one of the most influential tech events worldwide, GITEX GLOBAL 2025 reaffirms Dubai’s position as a hub for AI innovation and digital economic growth.
