PMI Global Summit Series Africa Returns to Rwanda in 2025 with Focus on Innovation and Youth Development
The PMI Global Summit Series Africa 2025 is set to take place in Kigali, Rwanda, from August 19 to 21, marking a significant milestone in the continent’s project management landscape. Originally scheduled for 2024, the summit returns after a postponement, promising an expanded agenda with expert-led discussions and a focus on innovation, resilience, and development. The Kigali Convention Centre will host key stakeholders, industry leaders, executives, and government representatives, all working to shape the future of project management in Africa.
The theme for this year’s summit, “Africa On Purpose: Gather. Grow. Guide,” highlights the importance of project management in advancing Africa’s development. George Asamani, Managing Director of PMI Sub-Saharan Africa, emphasized Rwanda’s suitability as the host, reflecting values such as innovation and progress that are essential for successful project management. The summit aims to foster collaboration and skills development, making it a unique platform for professionals to gain valuable insights into the future of project management.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in workshops, masterclasses, and AI-focused educational sessions designed to equip them with the tools necessary to navigate complex modern projects. These immersive activities are designed to enhance the skills of project professionals, ensuring they are well-prepared for the challenges ahead. The summit also offers networking opportunities and the chance to learn about the latest certifications and professional development from PMI, strengthening the competitiveness of attendees in their respective fields.
In addition to professional development, the PMI Global Summit Series Africa 2025 will feature a dedicated Youth Edition.
