Capital Express Group has officially unveiled its insurance arm, comprising two rebranded entities: Capital Express Life Assurance Limited and Capital Express Indemnity Insurance Limited. This milestone event, held in Lagos, marked the transformation of Capital Express Assurance Limited into its new identity, Capital Express Life Assurance Limited, alongside the launch of Capital Express Indemnity Insurance Limited. Together, these two subsidiaries now form the Capital Express Insurance Group, focused on providing life and general insurance services.
During the launch, the Group’s Chairman, Anthony Aletor, highlighted the strategic significance of this rebranding initiative. He described it as a new era for Capital Express, underscoring the Group’s dedication to innovative insurance solutions while maintaining its core principles of integrity and customer satisfaction. Echoing this sentiment, the Managing Director/CEO of Capital Express Life Assurance, Mr. Mathew Ogwezhi, reiterated the Group’s commitment to delivering value and strengthening its industry presence through this transformation.
The Commissioner for Insurance, represented by Dr. Julius Odidi, lauded the Group’s leadership for its vision, emphasizing the importance of the new structure in advancing insurance penetration across Nigeria. Mr. Adewale Koko, the MD/CEO of Capital Express Indemnity Insurance, described the restructuring as a pivotal move at meeting the client’s diverse needs through personalized and innovative services, positioning the Group as a leader in the evolving insurance landscape.
