PENGASSAN to Fed Govt: increase stake in Dangote Refinery to 45%

PENGASSAN, a group for oil and gas workers in Nigeria, wants the government to own more of the Dangote Refinery.

Right now, the government owns only 7%, but PENGASSAN thinks this should increase to 45%. This will help make sure there is enough fuel for everyone in Nigeria.

They also said that the government should work with businesses to fix old fuel depots and improve pipelines, so fuel can be transported better.

They believe that by doing these things, the country will have more fuel, and it will be safer to get it.

PENGASSAN also wants the government to stop oil thieves and make rules easier for companies that want to invest in Nigeria’s gas.

They believe using technology like Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help stop oil theft and improve the country’s energy system.
