$3.5bn business deals sealed at Indonesia-Africa Forum 2024

The 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum held in Bali, Indonesia, resulted in the signing of 32 business partnership deals worth over $3.5 billion.

These deals were announced by Indonesia’s Directorate for African Affairs, alongside the Nigerian-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI).

The forum also saw the signing of 16 agreements between Indonesian MSMEs and African companies.

Nigeria’s delegation was led by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, who represented President Bola Tinubu.

The Nigerian business delegation, headed by NICCI President Ishmael Balogun, participated in several MoUs during the forum.

The event focused on key sectors like mining, agriculture, renewable energy, and health.The Nigerian-Indonesian Investment and Trade Forum (NIITF 2024) was held on the sidelines, featuring key industry players like Yomi Benson of Sahara Energy and several other CEOs from various sectors.

The forum highlighted investment opportunities and trade partnerships between Nigeria and Indonesia.
