After a two-year hiatus due to trapped funds and other challenges, Emirates Airlines is preparing to relaunch flights to Nigeria, beginning on October 1, 2024.

The airline has launched several initiatives, including stakeholder engagements and workshops, to reintroduce its latest products and services.

These efforts aim to regain market dominance and strengthen relationships in Nigeria, one of its key markets.

In addition to providing updates on Dubai’s tourism and trade opportunities, Emirates highlighted its full-service offerings, including gourmet dining, award-winning in-flight entertainment, and curated holiday packages through Emirates Holidays.

The airline is also working to enhance the travel experience by educating stakeholders on the wide range of services available to Nigerian passengers.

Emirates’ Country Manager for Nigeria, Paulos Legesse, emphasized the importance of strong partnerships with travel agencies and the airline’s commitment to seamless travel between Nigeria, the UAE, and beyond.

Emirates has also reinstated Skywards members’ tier status to ensure continued loyalty benefits as the airline prepares for its return to the Nigerian market.
