Oando Plc has announced the resignation of Mr. Tanimu Yakubu as a non-executive director, following his decision to undertake a national assignment with the Federal Government.

Mr. Yakubu, who joined the Oando board on June 30, 2015, served as the Chairman of the Board Audit, Strategic Planning & Finance Committee, and was a member of the Statutory Audit Committee.

In his tenure, Yakubu contributed significantly to the company’s growth and stability, offering extensive experience in finance and strategic planning.

His leadership played a crucial role in guiding Oando Plc through various financial strategies and audits, ensuring robust governance and compliance.

The company’s Chief Compliance Officer & Company Secretary, Ayotola Jagun, expressed deep appreciation for Yakubu’s service, noting his invaluable insights and financial acumen.
