The Dangote Refinery has dismissed claims that it has set the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, at N600 per litre.

Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, described the reports as speculative and clarified that no such discussions have taken place.

Additionally, the refinery clarified that the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) is not yet a business partner.

Chiejina emphasized that IPMAN has no authority to represent the refinery or make statements on its behalf regarding petrol pricing.

The refinery urged the public to disregard speculative reports and assured that any official communications would be made through its established channels.
